Provincial FSA Item-Level Response Reports include data for all BC students in a specific grade who wrote a particular FSA test. Both public and independent schools are included. Since test format differs between the English and French versions of the FSA Reading, but is similar for the FSA Numeracy and Writing tests, provincial reports include:
- Numeracy and Writing Grade 4/Grade 7: all students
- Reading Grade 4/Grade 7: only students who wrote the English test
The FSA 2004 - 2008 provincial Item-Level Response Reports display the proportion of students who made errors on each test item and a description of the misconception.
Five types of reports are available for Grade 4 and Grade 7:
- Reading (multiple choice)
- Reading (written response)
- Numeracy (multiple choice)
- Numeracy (written response)
- Writing (written response)
General comments are provided for each written response item report. These comments emphasize student strengths and implications for instruction.
